I'm not comfortable relying on these being crewless, I've seen too many mobility projects die. When freight trains and trucks can operate crewed, a cargo airship will have no different rules to profitability.

Plenty of 12GByte laptops around, usually with 4 GByte soldered and 8 GByte added. Usually one would do that with two or three modules, it's just the split bus nature od ddr5 that makes for slightly weird packaging. Actually my phone h

"Prepared surface" is a whole thing in drag racing. I remember reading how Dodge got their Hellcat under 10 seconds, and it involved not only special tires, but also a specific gunk that is apparently common to spread on the tarma

At the very least drove it into a niche, same as with GPS devices (Garmin still makes devices for triathletes, boats and packs of dogs), and cameras. Flashlights just have to be tacticool now, market's flourishing.

I don't even hate this as much as I should. I showed the proper amount of outrage when BMW decided that heated seats should become a subscription, but this time I don't. Any time that a specific feature brings a lot of value for a

I've been looking to buy "portrait focal length" cameras. You can get the AliExpress equivalent of a standard phone camera, dressed up as compatible to Raspberry Pi, and somebody even brought wide-angles to that market once,

I've outgrown it, personally. For that "natural" perspective, 35mm is still wide enough to shoot a scene "the way you see it", but it can still be surprisingly intimate. And for the "portrait" thing, anyth

That's it. Same as in road cycling, the biggest air resistance is not due to the bike frame but due to the rider that will have to sit on it. The larger cross section is hard to ignore. To improve speed, make the bike more comfortable

Does anybody know at what point the FCC can revoke the radio license of these devices? Reaching emergency services seems a prerequisite for transmitting on the telephony part of the spectrum, so it might be surprisingly clear.
