Potentially off topic, but Im trying to navigate the alternative medicine world right now. My mother in law just gave me a bottle of pills containing a Chinese herb meant to treat hair prematurely graying. I don't mind trying it and fi

I don't care for this explanation style as it is really hand-wavy and makes machine learning seem very magical. I prefer explanations working through a simple regression, k-means example, or a baby decision tree. These are easy to show

I'm not saying Donald Trump shouldn't be president as he clearly won the game. What I'm saying is that you can't claim the election was a "referendum" on anything because more people voted against him than for

Oh come on. Anyone using a data driven approach to predict the election was putting money on Hillary. If Palantir had data to predict a trump win, then that would be interesting to hear about.

Is this a joke? You are completely dismissing the accomplishments of a senator and a secretary of state because she is a woman? Lots of governors run for president. Very few senator/sec of state/first ladies do. Edit: Mitt Romney

You have been the victim of the conservative spin machine if you think one of the most experienced candidates that either party has fielded in decades isn't "competent".

I don't understand why all these software companies are in a rush to make hardware. With the lone exception of Apple, all hardware seems to resort in a race to the bottom commoditization resulting in paper thin margins.
