This is yesterday's afternoon project. Because I think it could be useful for someone, I decided to share it with you. Feel free to judge me for my sub-par HTML/CSS/JS skills. They are what I'm trying to hone with such projects. I should me

What do you mean by "afraid of HTML"? I haven't used this yet, so bear that in mind, but to me this seems to be something that is more expressive than html (I meant String) concatenation. That leads, in my experience, to better maintainabil

To have this said first: I really like your reader, it looks beautiful and so far it's the one that I'd most like to use. In the wake of the Announcement of Google Reader shutting down, a lot of people are gonna be wary of jumping into anot

Quote for historical purposes: An apology to open source At midnight on the 18th March 2013 I posted Chart.js online. On the morning of the 19th March, I've had to take it down due to IP concerns with my current employer. It had been my fin

I was about to write something similar. Thanks for formulating it so eloquently. I think it's this part that trips up some people: > [...] at a minimum it unblinds the doctors on the ground. It's very important that the person administe

This is very well written. A very interesting and verbose (not in a bad way) way of answering the everpresent question "What language should I learn?" PS: Yes, I know that not the whole discussion was about this question. Still.

TL;DR: Business as usual. The GEMA are indeed a bunch of idiots. So the video was automatically taken down because the GEMA flagged it for copyright infringement. Dotcom said "they will hear from our legal team". The Video was up again, pro

Corey did take a lot of time to apologize again and again on Twitter. I think he dealt with the situation quite well, considering the douchiness he (and the others) exhibited.
