Sad truth is there isn’t a real substitute. You just eat it less and desire it less over time. Unrelated to cheese but MyBacon is fantastic if you can get it near you.

This is too bad. Beyond and Impossible opened up the door to me gradually becoming vegan. It was similar enough to real meat that I didn’t miss meat anymore, and from there I found other substitutions which were healthier. Without them I’m

For what it's worth, when Cursor downgraded their Claude limits in the middle of my annual subscription term, I emailed them to ask for a pro-rated refund, and it was granted. You may be able to do something similar with Claude Code. C

Absolutely. To add to this, the fact the author doesn’t take photos in their home town is a surprise as well. You understand where you live better than visitors. As a photographer you know what’s interesting about a place. You see things th

A general rule of thumb is that you have 3 board members at the seed (1 non-CEO founder, the CEO which is typically another founder, and the lead investor). So you have 1 seat available for investors, whereas you may take 5-20 checks. Not e

The app crashes I found were always due to the additional security hardening features in GrapheneOS. You can toggle these individually for each app.

I don’t know. I’m hoping that after their attempts at building an ad network fail, they pivot back to developing a browser by focusing on features their users actually want. Or maybe by the time Mozilla fails another alternative springs up,

The phrase "we don’t sell access to your data" has been removed, gated behind a feature flag connected to this TOS change. Their FAQ was updated to remove the "Does Firefox sell your personal data? Nope. Never have, never wil

Since Mozilla removed all mention of not selling my data in a recent PR and seems hellbent on an ad-based future, I've deleted my Firefox account and moved to Librewolf across my devices, and I'll encourage everyone I know to do t

I’m throwing a +1 your way. Hiding development for a year to launch a get-rich-quick coin isn’t the way a trustworthy FOSS organization should behave. As someone who got their whole network to switch to Signal before that happened, it was a

The absolute last thing I want from Mozilla is advertising. Blocking ads with uBlock Origin is the entire reason I use Firefox today. I don’t know how you can be this out of touch with your users.

Stacked PRs with multi-branch rebases are effortless. Conflicts are actual things in the history that you can come back to later. Everything is automatically committed, so I don't lose work from a bad reset/stash pop. Maybe these

This is a great approach. Just to add to it, you can also use custom elements in lieu of classes, such as: <my-product>...</my-product> Any tag with a hyphen is considered a custom element, which is completely valid HTML --

I'm more interested in the language after hearing this. There's plenty of negativity in the world, I don't need more of it in a niche programmer forum of enthusiasts. It reminds me of MINASWAN from Ruby.
