Congrats to GIMP devs and everyone involved. I love GIMP and have been using it for decades.

If you have a garden 8" Dobsonian or even larger if you can handle it. If in a flat a 4" Apochromatic refractor. Mars can be so so but good views of Jupiter, Saturn and Luna can be had in the UK. Both good for double stars as well

I just have to say. Such a beautiful and accessible website. No fluff, no ads, no distractions. I love it!

As always, it depends, right? I'm perfectly happy with Linux and use it both for personal tasks and work. Office is in the cloud these days so that's covered. Our designers still use Windows or MacOS though.

That fifth personal day can be quite lucrative with various one off projects. You can also be quite selective as you're covered financially and can choose those one off projects carefully to align with your values or whatever matters t

Same here. Almost 4 years now. Feel good at work and what I accomplish. Got steadily promoted with significant pay rises. Fridays are amazing. Drop kids at school, do some errands and code a little and then pick up the kids and spend time w

Never had trouble with CarPlay, cable or wireless in the last 5 years. It must be the car manufacturer and not CarPlay.

I just realised that I had similar experience. I can still picture things in my mind but dreams only came back a few weeks ago after being absent for a long, long time. Thinking about it it's not been months but a year or two.

History rewriting has been going on for awhile now. No need for LLM and "malicious actors to seed disinformation and hate-fueled narratives".

Went through a few mechanical keyboards, both cheap and expensive along with many non-mechanical ones over the years. Finally settled on Cherry Stream. I never miss a key on this one.

Culture shock was big for us when we moved from 'bad socialist block of flats' like that to a new, modern and expensive London block of flats made out of cardboard. I know that my flat in old country will still be there for my wif

With Honda it's easy. You can turn the telemetry off. There will be no need for CCPA demand.

You can turn telemetry off. It's pretty easy. It's the first thing that pops on a screen. You'll find other manufacturers worse in this respect.
