Those are high-margin value-add features. I agree with you. I want a car that drives and nothing else.

$75k is nothing in the US. It’s the bottom end of living wage. Edit: $75K is basically two people working at proposed min wage with moderate OT. $3000 per month with even laughably low $1K mortgage would leave you with just enough for famil

r/wsb is not mostly retail. I can tell there are people from shady hedge funds doing pumps there. And they’re all breaking securities law by doing that without disclosures.

This is great but the pandemic triggered a permanent shift toward WFH which undoubtedly will drive down total miles driven. In addition, car ownership is increasing. I wonder how all these dynamics will play out in coming years.

Think of it as a cable subscription. When you bundle a whole bunch of articles, it’s easier to up charges due to volume and perceived value.

Why is that bad?

Well it could disincentivize others from keeping things open sourced or making meaningful contributions.

Yes that comment really stuck with me. Because in many ways cloud (in current form) wouldn’t exist without OSS licensing in general.

I am not so sure about this. I think they should certainly allow emergency access to shut down all access but not necessarily give access to a trusted party. Life can change quite unexpectedly.

Well AMD should be worried about both Intel and Apple. Competition with deep pockets.

It appears INTC is serious about correcting the wrongs and doing it right. I’d be worried if I am Lisa Su at AMD.

I am certain there are many more planets inhabited by carbon based intelligence similar to ours. In fact, I believe they look very similar to homo sapiens and that they too are in search of extraterrestrials. Based on rough math we are nowh

VC is basically selling their rolodex. And to be honest that’s why most c-suite gets paid into the millions. In other words, it’s gatekeeping.

If anyone is looking for a reddit unbundling idea, it has to be a secondary market place that’s integrated with Reddit. There are a couple of half baked ones but the opportunity is there. Solving the scam issue alone is going to be a big fe

I really like the part where you can train the ML models using 3D models. So you can train it indefinitely. That’s the meat of this project imo.
