That sounds very interesting. Anyone know where I can find more on this story?

I was thinking something similar. Turns out that you don't need all the weights for any given prompt. > LLaMA 30B appears to be a sparse model. While there's 20GB of weights, depending on your prompt I suppose only a small port

I've read the whole thing. Frankly, this was quite a depressing. Something about this Economic Reductionistic way of thinking puts me off. Even tough I agree with a lot of his points — for example, the importance of communication over

That's very exciting. I'm building it right now. Can anyone explain how llama.cpp works? On a very high level, I'm interested in how it's possible to run it on CPU.

grep -o avx2 /proc/cpuinfo | uniq If your CPU supports AVX2, the output will be "avx2". If your CPU does not support AVX2, the command will not produce any output.

Could not agree more. I'm completely flabbergasted by the amount of people on HN that seem so blind to this observation.

There may be not many instances, but this is simply not an argument. That is irrelevant. People should be have the freedom to use cash. We had instances where a government blocked bank accounts of protesters, in democracies and autocracies

That's such a good idea. Just today I have not taken my phone to my bedroom and instead left it downstairs. Best sleep I've had in months.

I can highly recommend it. I didn't read the book, because it would take too long, but the film is a masterpiece in my opinion. Can anyone recommend something similar?

I'm curious why you think clean code is for the most part not good advice today. I read the book recently. What is different today compared to in 2008?

I'm searching for exactly this. Creating architecture diagrams is fine, but you come to the point where you'd like to visualize the flow of information in a network. Have you found what you're looking for?
