Docker can’t really support Socket Activation for containers because it is build around the docker daemon that fulfills similar tasks as systemd. They could only copy the concept to dockerd.

I personally wouldn’t put “easy” and “git” in one sentence. To sync it’s too much typing requires and possible conflicts need to be resolved.

You should try podman instead. The rootless version obviously can’t bypass UFW. When I tested podman as root it also didn’t punch holes into UFW. Not sure how it is today however.

You can’t really compare the two wrt IoT. For Debian you need an additional OTA update mechanism. Luckily rauc is in the Debian repos but you still need to setup everything yourself: A/B partitioning etc.

I don’t think focus would be a problem but sleeping problems. When body is accustomed to stay awake even when lying then it’s much harder to fall asleep.

Some sanctioned countries are financially motivated. But they also tend to sit on zero-day exploits worth billions so they probably don’t want to be detected before evidence is destroyed completely. They will be very careful what to do.
