The biggest buyer of slaves going down would decimate the market, no? I would imagine it would have played exactly like abolition of slavery in Britain or US. There was still slavery across the world, but the number of people that suffered

I would, if it were something between Snapchat and Dropbox. Anything a user posts gets deleted after a while and they would be able to archive posts for a fee.

I think node canvas is a wrapper over cairo. It lets you set a quality value too. Whether cairo is comparable to GM is something I don't know.

On top of the memory issue, jimp format support seems limited. No gif support for example. My personal favourite is node-canvas. It simply brings the HTML5 canvas api to node.

The point of the question is to see if a candidate can glue a loop,an if statement and a bit of arithmetic together, on the spot. Failing to come up with an answer to such a question is generally symptomatic of lack of problem solving skill

That was deliberate. Drawing was/is considered practicing idolatry in muslim cultures. The way around it was/is to draw things in a way that they resembled the subject the least, but still recognizable.

I don't think lead time is relevant here. Built to spec lead times are generally much longer for upmarket ICE cars.

Well, that's agencies for you. Most of them are terrible places to work and it won't get any better. Don't worry about recruitment fees. They don't get paid before you complete your probation period.

Yes, Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals had similar experiences. As a matter of fact they have been experiencing this for decades in the region. Have the wrong passport and you are a slave.

Lack of infrastructure is not the crazy bit. Everyone knows that they have the money to throw at the problem. The fact that all games of WC will be played in one city is the problem. All the fans in contact for a prolonged span...It won

As a developer I didn't spend a dime on dev tools in my 20 year career. The companies I worked for spent 10s of millions if not hundreds. The general pattern is almost always a variant of a fremium model. Devs start using the free tier

I found it ironic that the site itself doesn't follow the very good advice it's giving. A case of "Do as I say not as I do" I suppose.
