Ah, is this the reason behind Sonos' conspicuous exclusion from the list of AirPlay 2 partners at WWDC? It was a hellstorm on Twitter after the fact, with plenty of Sonos faithful begging the brand for an answer... It seems (seemed?) l

I highly doubt this. It would be extremely careless by Amazon to jeopardize their insanely-successful, industry-leading profit-machine with something so reckless.

Slack would serve as an excellent Nexus between services such as AWS (take on enterprise more fully), Twitch (take on Discord), and retail customer service ops, not to mention as an internal tool probably.

Real quick: I wouldn't call those gov't agencies nor are they gov't-funded. The RNC and DNC are not gov't entities, they are "private" "non-profit"s. It's fair to believe that a ton of astro-turf

The trouble here is, I think, "unlimited" tends to just mean "a lot" and for Average Joe that's fine. If you go to an all-you-can eat buffet, you will eventually be unwelcome after you have 20 plates stacked on your

200 acres 3 hrs away from a major metro? If all it took to be happy was land, we'd already be in our telecommuting utopia. Unfortunately, the subtle joys of life still tend to require physical presence. I don't think "city li

The amount of people who will sideload apps on to their TVs is tiny, to the point of being negligible. When your mom wants to watch Prime Video, are you going to teach her how to sideload or just let her buy the Apple TV she already wants?

I don't think so. The other way to look at this is Amazon Video is now accessible on all platforms except Chromecast/Android TV – it's not about winning so much as making sure Google loses IMO.

That's a very broad generalization. Videos games, computers/consoles, and internet access are essentially commoditized to the point where an Xbox, some games, and a TV (+ maybe internet) can be found cheaper than an iPhone. You co

Why stop there? Mega-corps will eventually supersede governments. When Amazon, Google, and Apple all have 10.000.000 employees, then "Waymo v. Uber" isn't just law it's a wartime skirmish! Employment will be more valuabl
