Read http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#releasenotes/Objecti... and on a related note, read http://clang.llvm.org/docs/ObjectiveCLiterals.html too. You only need to synthesize when you access the variable directly. I always access

The work put into LLVM and Clang is great. But Xcode (the UI frontend) is really one of the worst Apple product.

Handful? Do you mean dedicated product guys? Otherwise, I'd make a wild guess there's much more than a handful. Almost every one running a small business selling their own product has to be the product guy.

I am a major procrastinator. I've noticed that the few times I was able to beat it was when I had projects that were both small enough and which I was passionate about enough to finish quickly. Larger projects are a no-go for me. PS: Droppe

Wow. It's a wonderful book. It's great for Smalltalkers of course, but it's also a wonderful book for OO in general. It's also available on Kindle [1] and Apple iTunes [2]. [1] http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?lt1=_blank&bc1=000000&IS2..

Looking at the product as it is now, offering an API for third party app developers that clones the primary timeline browsing experience is a no-no because Twitter gives up control over how they can craft their product experience. For examp

Not impossible, but it's highly improbable to continue. The API changes aren't the biggest factor, but it requires some changes across the entire app, and I would like to take the chance to revamp a good part of it (It's major version 3, I'

I developed SimplyTweet. Wow. I've never knew — but judging from a few emails I've got — I had some users of SimplyTweet from HN. It's sad, but it was fun while it lasted.
