I understand. I don't mind, because I keep single window and use those groups like windows. But I've been lucky with not stumbling upon weak persistency, so I get how it could be frustrating. Warning about tab hiding is normal. I

That's the reason for me to use Totally Not Panorama [0], but it seems that Panorama Tab Groups [1] development is more active. I can have a separate named tab group for every project and also for work. It could be integrated with cont

For this to happen we would have to use our phones as workstations - just connect monitor and input devices. That's current mission of Rob Landley with his Toybox project ¹. Years ahead of us, but probably will happen. Makes projects l

They say "mainline Linux". Lima the open source driver for Mali GPUs is mentioned. I don't know if it's already in Mesa. I would say WIP, but seems doable.

The best you can count on is the Pinephone [0]: $150, approx. 165x77mm (bigger than my Nexus 5x, so bigger than 5.2", but we all have lost here). [0] https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=7093&pid=43850#p...

For those like me not willing to throw $600 there may be an option in the Pinephone [0] for $150. I expect that the Librem 5 will probably be better overall, but I also expect that for at least the first year both will be around beta level
