Not sure I would classify PMC's as militias. They are operating internationally and it's more like a full time job or deployment. There's not really much domestic demand for American PMC services. In Brazil the militias are

Brazil has some really high level militia groups. The largest ones are mainly active in Amazonas. I think it boils down to their ability to make money as well as practice their craft. Militias in Brazil will be paid in secret by the governm

Ok, but so what though? Are they actively committing crimes or doing something crazy with regard to the militia? I mean we have tons of evidence of cops doing crazy shit in uniform and on the record and nothing happens.

I'm sure you could offer the Japanese dentist 10% of what the procedure would cost in the US and they would do it in one trip. It cost about 25% of US prices to fly to Costa Rica, stay at a resort, and get the procedure done in a top n

The suburban and exurban sprawl in the 80s was driven by developers chasing unrestricted zoning. Sure zoning was defined in metro areas but there was a ton of cheap housing available and a major development boom in the areas that allowed it

That was still better, because you could track down errors. Other people used the same code. Chatgpt will just make up functions and methods. When you try to troubleshoot no one of course has ever had a problem with this completely fake fun

Its up to the CC companies to determine delinquency. Some may consider it at > 30 days, others may wait until 90 or 120 days.

Seriously SDKs are unnecessary bloat. Just give the basic CURL examples and let people abstract it for whatever language and implementation they want.

The bank doesn't eat the fraud. They charge it back to the merchant. That's why restaurants and bars don't like them, and if you fight the charge backs they raise the rates or drop you entirely.

Probably a huge factor. Its just a pain in the ass to occasionally print something. In the 90s we actually printed a lot more stuff. We printed maps, letters to mail, forms to fill out. Everything that was typed for school would be printed

Without the zoning restrictions monetary policy would have a negligible effect. In the 80s interest rates were 15%+ but there was far less restrictive zoning and housing was incredibly cheap. Unrestricted was the default and zoning was loos

For me, just comparing Google to Google of 10 years ago it's very clear that Google is terrible now. I haven't found a viable alternative though. Kagi was Ok, but nothing seems as good as Google was 10 years ago. I used Kagi enoug

I would think 5G could really improve that situation. In the states we have the 600 MHz spectrum on T-Mobile and can pull down decent speeds 30-150mb through trees 15 miles from the tower. Upload is not great.

Yeah I'm not really sure what issues you could reasonably expect a satellite internet provider to be troubleshooting at all. It's very much a 0 or 1 situation.
