It sounds like Channel files are just basically definition updates in normal antivirus software; it's not actually code, just some stuff on what the software should "look out for". And it sounds like they shipped some malform

That's what I thought. So saying "it's not a kernel mode driver" is technically true, but I don't need to explain why it's a bunch of nonsense to try to damage control their incompetence.

I'm not a big expert but honestly this read like a bunch of garbage. > Although Channel Files end with the SYS extension, they are not kernel drivers. OK, but I'm pretty sure usermode software can't cause a BSOD. Clearly s

I'd say the navigation aspect of Apple Maps is far superior to that of Google Maps, but the reviews and business directories on Google Maps is much better, not to mention all my favorites and PoIs are stored in Google Maps.

with the setup you're implying, the eye diagram is all you can get, which to be honest you can extract a lot of information about transmitter-side parameters like the jitter, but you can't evaluate receive performance at all. rece

if you want to do this, you generally want a breakout board that breaks out the high speed differential signals to 50 ohm RF connectors and hook that up to a 50 ohm terminated real time scope, and not use a probe. also for 10gbps per lane,

the combat in 2b2t does not look like regular minecraft either. because of a long history of duped high value items, PvP is just simply spamming ender crystals which deals massive damage when broken, and the defense is just how many "t

I saw some coverage saying Wegovy and Ozempic have basically no downside a long time ago, but I'm now hearing those two have serious psychological effects. I'm not sure what's true at this point

No, rotary engines are terrible. For one, the equivalent of variable valve timing doesn't exist/cannot exist for rotary engines, unless Mazda creates a miracle. VVT and VVL lets you do some insane things in terms of efficiency and

For my car (2024 GR Corolla) you can pull a fuse that goes to the telematics computer. The car has a bad habit of calling the emergency hotline on a race track if you go over rumble strips (those painted red/white strips) because it sh

I think the AVP will really put this to the test, because especially for device like the AVP, 3rd party support is really going to make it or break it for a lot of people.

We went from earbuds looking like one thing, to basically everyone wearing airpods-like things with great noise cancellation and usability. I'd say that's a home run.

You need a lot of speed to go into space really fast. When you fly your spacecraft really close to a planet and let it get influenced by its gravity, you let the planet transfer some of its massive amounts of kinetic energy into your spacec

Once you try it, and read his blogs about how all of this shit works, you'll know that he isn't exaggerating. The amount of control and physics-based editing you're doing is very unique. This wasn't what darktable was li

lmao, Aurélien Pierre has been making insanely big leaps in darktable, putting it leagues above its competition and providing something so unique compared to Lightroom and others, so I'm not surprised that he just created his own fork.

Holy shit, the title undersells that. The 300 baud limitation made digital radio basically useless for anything other than old geezers trying to fill their logbook with DXs. This is fucking great, and I hope it goes through.

I'm in the car hobby and considering how many people just think stuff like noise regulation and air quality measures is just nonsense solely on the basis of "I do what I want, bitch", I'm not hopeful.
