first thing that comes to mind are bounds on integer subtypes. classic example is to declare an array to be indexed with such a type, then all out-of-bounds errors can be checked at compile time.

for regular bars I don't know, but if you want to score at a club, talking is often a hindrance. a few looks and dancing is usually enough to get started, and the loud music can even be a pretext to go elsewhere.

there are no buttons. the mac trackpad isn't an emulation of a mouse anymore, you have gestures now. pinch, zoom, etc. you can "click" anywhere on it, just like with a regular trackpad, and you don't need to know much
