I'd say the user base is as or more important than the product, from Atlassians POV. If they are able to convert a few hundred thousand JIRA accounts from this, they could turn Trello off and it'd be a win.

Yes, a key reason to read it would be so you don't have to think of it yourself.

They also wreck habitat for other animals who are in more danger. They are very destructive eaters.

OK... how about rhino horn? Compared to rhinos, elephants are in zero danger. Not defending poachers, but this is the wrong thing to prioritize. (Also cheetahs, and probably a lot of other species)

Seems like a silly premise to me. Languages with troves of pictorial characters are very difficult to learn, let alone invent collectively.

Or a more pure, simpler LISP like a member of the Scheme family.

Everyone in the i3/etc community is capable of filling in those gaps themselves, or they give up and go to a full DE. I appreciate that these users are leveling up their skills and asking fewer dumb questions. Nothing stopping anyone

This trend will continue forever until we start decreasing the amount of celebrities we create.

What have we learned? Does LISP feel antiquated to you as well? How about Java?

Yes, we notice. Some of us... I'd happily hand over my twitter and fb usernames because I don't post anything there. The amount of privacy you should expect on social media has not changed.

If you just realized this year that they are entertainment focused and devs/pros are a secondary concern, you haven't been paying attention. Since 10.6 when dual full screen was removed I say the shark has been jumped.

I get your point, but with respect I believe you are missing the point to which you're responding. You may be too close, and again, that's totally understandable.

Lisp critics have heard this argument, and are choosing to continue hating on the parens. It's easy to find a superficial reason to hate things.

Why do they think they needed 38 licenses to install unlimited copies? That's stupid... one license you can confuse maybe, but if you have more than one there are obviously terms. If BM failed to put that in writing, they are stupide

Apple has been backing away from power users for years. Ever since they removed dual monitor full screen, imo. My MacBooks don't have Mac OS on them and I'm never buying another one. The premium price used to get you the best pro

You could definitely pay me enough. Great managers help more things get built than great engineers. They do it in a different way, but as long as they don't suck, they are critical. Good managers are much harder to find than competent
