I think all of your issues with markdown can be solved with a stylesheet. Also, I would challenge your idea that the changes tracking feature is even remotely comparable to real revision control. "Everyone uses it" is the best arg

Capitalism is way out of control. No corporation should be able to strong arm the government to get out of taxes. At least not until I can pit states against each other to get out of my income tax.

Distortion was "discovered" by misuse of technology. I'm sure it would never have been invented / discovered on purpose. Digital technology can't be abused the same way analog technology can.

Careful, the dry-rb people are very sensitive. I posted a similar "nope" comment on r/Ruby a few years ago and now I have massively negative karma on that sub.

evil-mode? Spacemacs? Nvim is pretty awesome, but the tools in the vim ecosystem just don't compare.

If the farmers at local markets are lying about using conventional methods but still growing smaller, tastier fruits and veggies with shorter shelf lives despite still having dirt and rocks on them... then we're totally fucked anyway.

You can change what you're doing, apply the same effort, and be more successful. Roughly equivalent to mechanical leverage. Some management types even call it that.

> Is a middle-class black woman less privileged than a white working-class man? Yes, on average, significantly. I'd be interested in your definition of "privilege" though.

My experience has been different. My Sylvania Zigbee bulbs, if they don't pair perfectly out of the box, require a reset-and-re-pair process that I usually have to go through three or four times per bulb. Also, try pairing 4 bulbs on

I've just moved into a new house and have spent quite a few hours smartifying it. What I'll say is that, though there will be competition, once a user chooses an ecosystem, they are locking themselves into one side of a 1990'

I've been on a few hiring panels and designed a few interviews in my day. I've never met anyone who likes being told their interview is broken. Especially not from a candidate (who failed / is refusing to do it.)

Hiring managers need to be sure they're being fair to everyone. How can they do that looking at your side projects? They need a way to compare apples to apples.
