That's not social stigma it's just risk management. Once you have your license then you can advertise.

I think the opt out process is the same as the one that came to prominence in the care.data days. It is not a very good process since it is opt out not opt in, and reliant on motivated people searching for a form. On the other hand I like o

I don't think those are always different things. Imagine writing copy for a store catalogue. It pays the bills but probably isn't anyone's dream job.

Another reason there's no coverage is nobody in Sudan has the social media expertise and budget that Iran has.

Seems like a very different class of problem. Many more parties and variables than the 'roommate problem'.

Too many chatbots maintain a relentlessly 'positive tone' anyway, and sometimes a negative situation calls for honestly negative tones.

Follow musicians and bands that perform live would be my choice. If they write their music with AI and I still like it then that's ok by me. Obviously this doesn't scale if you are a platform operator but that's not my situat

I can still see a path where the manager was stupid but not malicious. The manager sent on a document which he was too lazy to check at least had the right endpoints but left the GP's contact details on. I could also imagine intention

Depends what you are selling and to whom. Meanwhile, India wanted to get a lot of people online and this appears to suit their needs.

I think some of those 'localised' menu items would sell well in the Uk and I hope McDonald's puts my hunch to the test.

No, the do not make a copy and that specifically is the point I am making. The guy looking at my id while standing in my porch is doing something ephemeral.

Physical stores look at your id, they don't take a copy. Same for home delivery of alcohol at least in the UK.

I sent it an AI generated photorealistic picture I happened to have. It gave me a description of the picture (a doctor in an OR) followed by some generic stuff about how rich doctors spend their money.

I suspect there used to be a flow which was far too easy to share directly to Google maps. I was browsing the map once and found a picture of a credit card in a room in a hotel. I guess the guy intended to send it to his PA or something.

At 10,000 paying customers I don't think it is frivolous to move to a 10/month vps, or maybe a second 5/month one for fail-over.

France has been doing this in parts of its government functions for years, building expertise and learning what works. What do you imagine the EU institutions would bring to the table?

Not really to the point of the post, but how can you deal with parallax error when your users are sitting on bus seats and your display is built into the bus window anyway?

Two people can't use a machine at the same time is the issue. If you have 50 machines and 200 customers all of whom want to be in the gym 18 hours per day that's quickly going to lead to cancelled subscriptions. Now you need more

You would have been best served by a Minor Injury Unit but not every town has one, so A&e is not excessive. The great majority of people going there do not need the full capabilities of it (resuscitation etc).
