Right, so usually the modification of TFT is that you forgive one or two missteps. We're well past that point with China trade.

The first two don't say much. The third one about JFNA's letter to Congress is key. Didn't cite the primary source for some reason, but it matches: https://cdn.fedweb.org/fed-1/1/Jewish%2520Federatio

The YouTube and Facebook short-video recommendations I got when those features launched were mostly young women wearing very little and doing something that I'm guessing is not the main point of the video. YouTube knows I like music, s

That and we have strong lobbying groups within the US representing Israel, a foreign nation.

The Guardian, Al Jazeera, and Vox claim censorship. Is there something more credible, maybe AIPAC themselves publicly backing the TikTok ban, or some strong correlation between AIPAC contributions and House votes on the bill?

I think if you turn it off entirely, it'll ask you once for each OS update if you want to sign in, which isn't too bad. When it really screams is if you log into iCloud then forget your password and it keeps asking you to input it

Probably just a more visible "install" button would eliminate the need for half of native apps. I've tried doing a PWA before, and despite iPhones having all the right capabilities for it (they even support push now), users w

For a smartphone, I can pick between 2-3 (depending how you count) major OSes, tons of different hardware vendors for the non-Apple ones, one app store if it's Apple or any source if it's not, whichever cloud any third-party app u

I don't think the smartphone market is that consequential either way. It's a mature and played out end-user product already, not comparable to the early AT&T. If Apple could somehow be forced to properly support third-party ap

I highly doubt those 80% were working on ideological stuff. It's common in big tech companies to have too many cooks in the kitchen, and because the design process and tech stack tends to mimic an org chart, stuff gets semi-permanently

These two things are not mutually exclusive. You can help someone via Reddit and Reddit also profits. But you aren't gonna get paid for it.

The interesting part of cryptocurrency is that it's a trustless database. Not easy and comes with big costs.

They're happening, but it's not as clear cut as Microsoft ignoring the license. GPL doesn't say anything about AI explicitly. Personally I think Microsoft is in the wrong anyway.

Regardless of whether you consider it a scam, it's not worthy of the "web 3.0" title. Like, why did npm allow Ethereum to have the "web3" name instead of simply "ethereum"? It's so annoying.
