You sound like you're in a good position to begin with. Taking money is giving a bit of your soul for it. You'll end up infinitely more busy than you already are. Reach financial independence and keep at it as you are. It sounds l

People. Lethal choice of CEO. I'll avoid names if you don't mind. Our product was essentially like Twilio, to start with at least, until the company was dragged into a more social arena (with deals with then big, now defunct socia

I competed in the telephony space between 2006-2009. Us and Twilio all launched at the same time approx. We lost, they won and I'm happy for that. Today I'm their customer (and they are non the wiser about our somewhat parallel hi

This is one of the main reasons I voted to remain in the end. I was undecided for a while (and immigration was not even an issue for me) - Heart says IN, Brain says Out. In the end, both brain and heart agreed on IN, with a prime reason bei

I've been in the same position. Was first to join a couple of founders, built the first few iterations of the application, small group, great fun, lots of challenges, lots of code. As funding came, team grew I became the CTO officially

I've tried the Amiga based VR contraption in the 90s. Before I got on, the excitement in the queue was unbelievable. Just as much as the disappointment afterwards. I think this marked the first time I was really disillusioned by techno
