Absolutely. If we bring the law into it, one should also know why they are being locked out and have a valid human-lead channel to contest it. I'm in no way condoning what's going on sometimes. It's terrible.

Yes. The convenience is truly that great and the ratio of users to locked out users is large enough that I am prepared to gamble like that. We gamble all the time with any service we use or retailer we buy from.

I actually gasped when I spotted a game I made in the 90s in there (text adventure). Then I gasped again when I noticed how big that archive is...

It works quite well, has some surprising touches and is doing it's best to be helpful and not annoying. Good job!

I uploaded one of my own tunes, one which I made with my wife. The video generated was spectacular. I was so impressed that the relatively high price tag is not a deal breaker. Love this.

The fact that it just works, and very easy to add endpoints, made it a no-brainer. I might not leave it alone with my kids but it works great as an RPC pipe.

I am actually using it in production as an easy mechanism to add non critical rpc calls between services. The only thing I can say about it is that zeromq hasn't given me a reason to look for a replacement. Yet.

The number of votes on this post says otherwise. I find HN is good at solving these kind of issues and I find the stories behind these posts interesting.

Thanks for that. I've moved all my domains to you guys during one of the other go daddy fiascos (pick one) and never looked back. You guys are great. Thanks!

I remember the entities. Or in my case a singular one. I went into it with zero expectations or knowledge of what other people experience and I'm glad for that. It's amazing that the common thread of the descriptions is so similar

I don't rely on it but I do get acupuncture from time to time. My wife is a tcm practitioner and I can vouch it works. I don't claim it substitute western medicine but it works very well along side it.

I don't drink dairy due to intolerance and I find it disgusting possibly for the same reason. I also don't like any milk substitute so I'm out of any target demographic anyway. However, as far as I know according to traditio

I'm not entirely sure why this is sold as innovative new approach. Over the last few years, I've seen and developed micro services that are indeed cut down to specific functionality, and I've done ones where the domain was th

Actually he's right. I did work with Dojo many years ago. It was very complete, but I found it clunky and slow for my use case. I rewrote the entire app in ExtJS. At the time, this was the most polished toolkit around. If your project

One of the things that I always find missing in these libraries/collections is a date/time picker. I know these are available via many separate projects, but it's nice if one picks a collection like that, that all inputs are

I was just the right age to enjoy the 90s to full effect. So much happened (to me) musically and culturally in that decade, that it has to be the best.

I originally submitted it a while ago and it failed to attract attention. I received a note from HN inviting me to resubmit so I did. I love it. I learned to program the VIC-20 before I could properly speak English. The experience is so emb

If we assume we are in a simulation, surely it is simulating something 'known' (or familiar enough) like a universe with galaxies, stars, planets and life. And it is simulated by 'something'. So either way, it is unfatho

I appreciate Reaper very much although I'm religiously married to Cubase since it was a single floppy disk. This is quite something to dig up an origin story of a DAW.
