I personally think that governments would be better at making decisions of what to farm and where to farm it than farmers. Farmers have a profit motive whereas governments can have other non-profit motives.

That's only because all of those comparisons assume cars are free and not part of your living expenses. People in the USA often save money moving to Chicago and NYC because they can get rid of their cars. So yes, the rent is expensive

Heck even without going "premium", you can pretty much just buy LG or low-end Bosch models of most things and be fine. But if you buy Samsung, you might as well budget for a replacement ASAP.

Yeah, they always include the full supply chain for nuclear to make it appear believable but they don't do the same thing for anything else. Heck, some people include the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the numbers too just
