Germany's online booksellers have ridiculous prices. I don't know what the marketshare figures look like in the rest of the world, but I would be very surprised if they were comparable to Germany.

The freezer is a terrible place for coffee. 1. Most containers contain enough air to draw water out of the beans. Freezer-temperature air is dry . Freezer-burn is where water sublimated out of your food. Even a small air pocket can ruin

I've run into a lot of children and teenagers who own an iPod Touch. It's much easier to get parental funding/permission for a one-time cost than $30-50 month changes to the family phone bill.

The domestic firms to which you outsource typically don't want #1 to happen. They want to build a long-term relationship and hold your repeat business. They want to become such experts on your software that it's not cost effective for you

First, let us correct your assumptions: Very few Americans get out of poverty. Social mobility rates are surprisingly small in the United States. The American Everyman is very likely to die in the class into which he was born. Secondly, n

You don't need a capital infusion. Commodity servers are very easy to lease/finance. I know Dell and HP make credit very widely available. The server hardware lease will probably cost you less than than the lease on the colo/rackspace it o

The subtitle is a question. The answer is "No." The term "Wage slave" is not applicable to most wage laborers, even in many famously terrible labor markets.
798.
by hapless 16y ago
"Wage slavery" specifically refers to wage laborers who are unable to do those things. If you have the ability to find other jobs, go on holiday, join the army etc, you are by definition not a "wage slave," merely a wage laborer.
