Its source code is quite interesting. It's a medium-sized TypeScript project and it doesn't look like a C# or Java ripoff. Well done!

Oh. That might explain why I've started receiving lots of follow up spam e-mails that are obviously sent by automated Crams and often doesn't even get my name or the company's correctly.

I already "knew" this, I totally agree with it, but I still open job positions in my company for "DevOps engineer". It's the easiest way to get ops people that are more focused on Kubernetes and CI/CD.

Thanks! Mina is the most interesting cryptocurrency I've seen since Bitcoin. I didn't mention it since I'd look like a shill trying to pump my favorite coin. Disclaimer: I have 0 cryptocurrencies in my portfolio right now. I&

I have a contrarian view on cryptocurrencies: I don't think the blockchain is the biggest innovation. I think that Bitcoin is. And Bitcoin is more than just a blockchain. However, I think blockchains are only useful for a single purpos

I think it's a good opportunity for Meteor, which is a very interesting framework but with some technical debt, to jump ship on Deno and start fresh again. Maybe they could try replacing their in-house synchronization mechanisms by man

I don't think the parent was criticizing Co-pilot. The point was that codebases that need a lot of boiler plate and predictable code are not fun to work with.

I used to play NetHack a lot and the only thing that bothered me in the gameplay was the monsters' AI. They were basically a huge heap of mindless creatures that lived with a single objective in mind: to destroy you. I think there is a

I've just came back to Linux, with Plasma nonetheless, and the only problem I had from this list was that sleep was consuming a lot of battery. Besides that, everything worked fine. It's good enough :)

I still prefer Atom's UX design over VSCode and I can't explain why. Amazing job on that front! I hope it gets traction with community support.

Cool story, but this is going to be the main tool for your craft. You should buy a modern set as soon as you can afford it. You've earned it :)

I'd love to hear from someone that works at GitLab on how things work internally. My understanding is that they have hundreds of employees and are 100% remote. Seems amazing from my outsider's perspective.

Have you faced serious scalability issues with it? In my shallow research, a lot of devs complain about Meteor's performance, but it might be misuse or a misunderstanding of how the platform works.

Slightly related, but Rocket Chat is one of the most important projects using the Meteor framework. How's this going in 2022? Is Meteor still relevant when compared to new players like AWS Amplify and Remix?
