I think it's more likely that they nerfed it due to scaling pains.

On a side note, it must have been really painful for the 10%.

Kind of related, but I'm also getting wary of relying on small third parties building important binaries in my life (like a browser or mobile OS) I'm thinking that it's better to use what's mainstream and look for privac

Well, maybe we could limit this by having a list of preset actions that the LLM can take and those actions can contain canned responses based on templates. This way we can make a chat bot with a LLM model that never sends its output to the

I'd love to do that to create fighting games character sprites. Combined with Mugen, it would make for a very fun experience and the LLM could help on adding attacks and gameplay logic. Where should I start to make this happen? Stable

Don't know if there is a smarter way, but these libraries usually offer an overlap parameter that allows you to repeat the last N characters of a chunk in the first N of the next chunk.

"Deadlines are huge, but really what are deadlines? They’re opportunities to fail. That’s all they are. They’re actually opportunities to learn, to fail. Hopefully not fail catastrophically, but it’s an incredible data gathering moment

Yeah, there is a pretty annoying pattern right now on Twitter of such accounts trying to get some engagement. It usually goes like this: "Everything is about to change. You are being left behind. Read this thread to know more"

Looks fun, but doesn't look like it will be open source. That's a shame, since it considerably raises the risk of adopting such a platform. EDIT: the author claims that it will be open sourced soon :)

It's a make limitation when using its native functions. It's very hard to work around this.

Make is one of the best tools I've ever come across, but with one big caveat that none of your files must have spaces on their names or all hell breaks loose. Seems like a reasonable trade off to me :)

This got me thinking: what would we see if we implanted (with a futuristic tech) cones that can see ultraviolet? Would we see a new color? Or perhaps our brain would recalibrate and ultraviolet would be the new purple?

Slightly related: what's the difference in use cases of llama-index vs LangChain? I know that LangChain can make retrieval using embeddings and I suspect that the nodes synth step is exclusive to llama-index, but I might be wrong. Can

Is IPFS mature and reliable? Genuine question. I've always been curious about, but never had a need for it. Since it didn't take over the world as we know it, I believe something must be missing yet.
