Have you checked out something like LiquiBase or Flyway? They offer a good improvement over the ad hoc solution. http://www.liquibase.org/ https://flywaydb.org/

Good point. What about GPU scaling though? Doesn't Nvidia and AMD drivers support that for lower than physical resolutions?

I'm pretty sure there is more (and a greater variety of) net facing Java code than C/C++ code.

Oracle is deprecating the Java browser plugin in JDK 9, ie. the applet use case. There will still be support for Java Web Start though.

How deterministic is the build process for an entire distro like this? And wouldn't updating just a single letter in a README just before release thwart the efforts of an external attacker?

What is the significance of this? Doesn't Canonical already update the package (lagging a day or two behind the official release) for the lifetime of the Ubuntu version?

The problem is integration drift. I don't think it's really feasible to do inertial navigation with a smartphone. The paper you linked is also discussing use of WiFi and Bluetooth. Edit: here's a good overview: http:/&#

Awesome trip down memory lane. Can't see any audio files loading, so I'm guessing it's emulating a SID-chip in JavaScript? Great emulation in that case. Might be the nostalgia talking, but it's surprising how well the SI

I think more nuclear power is the way to go, but I don't want (heavily subsidized) privately owned nuclear plants in my back yard. For how long did TEPCO fake their safety records? Private capital is far too single minded and powerful

Reading those comments, it strikes me that this could be read more as well crafted general anti-bureaucracy propaganda aimed at your own populace rather than actual agitation for sabotage. Or maybe it's a twofer.
