What is the goal of NIF? I've read repeatedly that fusion power isn't their end goal but rather to study inertial confinement. That's fine but why study inertial confinement if not to generate power? I've always been ver

Can we please update the title to clarify it's Steve Jobs. I know that's the original title on the site but it's a bit confusing when it comes to Steves and Apple. My heart dropped when I read it and thought it was Steve Wozn

Yeah. That really, really did not sit well with me. The use of mental health care issues as an excuse for some immoral, unethical behavior is really quite offensive. There are so, so, so many people who have mental health care issues who do

That's what I did with 24 Hour Fitness. I had to cancel in person, which is ridiculous, but the guy told me that because of the way their system works, they will charge me for the next month too. When the charges showed up a month late

The issue of Mongolian independence was left ambiguous by the USSR and China (this includes the PRC and ROC -- they both technically claim it). Mongolia had at one point petitioned to join the USSR but was actually rejected. The status of M

Anyone know who's financially responsible in cases like that? LG, GM, or shared between the two? I've heard the recall is in excess of 1 billion.

MSDN and the whole ecosystem around it is a gem. MSFT isn't great at some (or even many) things but I've always felt MSFT really put a lot of effort into developer experience. I don't miss much about moving away from the MSFT

One of my buddies gave me this useful insight once: the impression you give your candidates, even the ones you don't end up hiring, will likely be the last impression you'll get to make on that candidate and the tech world is very

I am a long time iPhone fan and this Android ad made me chuckle. I miss the self-deprecation of Silicon Valley/tech. It's almost nostalgic coming from Google. It reminds me of the Google and other tech companies before they became

Thanks! This could potentially save us a ton of work! Really appreciate all the amazing work you've done. FastAPI definitely being put to good use at my company.

Does it work outside of FastAPI or is it tied to it? We sort of shoved SQLAlchemy into Starlette (which FastAPI also uses) and it would be great if this library also works with Starlette. Thanks!
