Still going strong on most Norwegian channels. It's very good for a fast news/weather/stock etc. update, the interface is much faster to use compared to what you get with the web. Modern TVs cache all 999 possible pages, so flipping between

From a European perspective, that sounds really strange. I've got mobile broadband in my laptop. Imagine if the provider of that service would have a say over what programs I could run on my laptop. Very strange.

Scala, Clojure, Kotlin, Ceylon, Groovy and now Xtend. Going to be interesting to see what languages win out in what niches on the JVM.

HTC allows users to unlock the bootloader: http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader In my experience, HTC is pretty good (although a bit slow) with updating Android on their older models.

It seems to me that Ubuntu won't really be stable until Canonical seriously tries to monetize and market it in cooperation with one or more hardware vendors for wide availability. Until then, all Ubuntu users are essentially beta testers.

I've had to work with Play lately, and I find it quite delightful. It's butchering java as a language (or at least what's considered good practice), but since it works so well, you tend to overlook that. I'm also a fan of maven. There's not
