The pricing page lists the paid version as a one time payment of $10 and not a subscription. Price seems fine to me if you end up getting any value out of it.

I've worked for US based companies in the past from Germany and that was the setup at the time because it was a legal and bureaucratic hassle to set up proper employment. That said, both times I received equity - that's, at least

The company I work for uses a take home project that can be summarized as: Consume some data from a public API, store id somewhere and then build a visual representation for the data you consumed. The goal is to spend less than four hours o

Keep a separate document with your report that you update in your 1:1s. Your report can also note questions, thoughts, etc. in this document that they want to discuss, for when you next meet. Have one section for weekly now and one for goal

You have to take into account that it was originally scheduled to launch in 2007, then in 2014. Development began as early as 1996.

That's classic whataboutism. That doesn't explain away why it's that bad in the US nor does it justify accepting the status quo.

Does that mean all Android users must now install the app to prevent getting Airtagged? That seems ridiculous and calling this a false claim is questionable ar best.

That is all assuming that all will remain suffering. How likely is that? It seems much more likely that some may look on this dark period in their life and be grateful they didn't go through with a suicide.

It's clear the py2 to py3 migration was painful but I'm curious to hear how you would apply "they should fork / rename the language" here. To me it just feels like semantics. They said "here's a new major

Yup we're in agreement here. For software I agree that there is rarely if ever a point to have patents. That doesn't really counter my point above nor does it mean all patents are bad.

Patent trolls rarely kill a company. The want to settle pre-trial so they usually want some low (relatively speaking) $$$ amount. The gains from patented and protected research still far outweigh the risk of potentially paying a patent trol
