Not. I've seen young teenagers vape in Thailand, that's how enforced it is. They only catch foreigners from whom they can extract thousand-dollar bribes.

They want you to search. I probably have 200 apps on my phone and their automatic categorization is good enough for me. Most common ones I just search anyway.

The worst part here is that the style works decently on mobile but they shoehorned it onto a 25-year-old UI and shipped it.

It's more that it's exceedingly easy to generate bad X(H)ML strings especially back when you had PHP concatenating strings as you went. Most HTML on the web is live/dynamic so there's no developer to catch syntax errors

Speaking of forms: form.elements.username is my preferred way of accessing form fields. You can also use a field .form prop to access its connected form. This is fundamental when the field exists outside <form> ;)

The ingredients he uses are not necessarily what CC uses, but they're just a way to replicate the flavor profile. Notably he lacks the coca extract so he has to make up for it.

Incredible you could run it in 2005 since it was released in late 2006. I ran windows vista beta that summer on my new 2GB computer, it was a great OS in my view.

You can't seriously compare how inappropriate Windows 8 was on desktop to the latest macOS. Bad UI aside, the OS is effectively the same OS X from 2001 with some fresh skin. Also a lot of people hate on macOS changes, I myself did not

Vista was not bad, it's just that you tried running it on a 128MB computer from 2002. Vista was fantastic on so many levels but people were just not ready for it. People mocked Vista's permission prompts, something that every OS h

With so many good OSes nowadays, why is anyone still on Windows? Seriously. Unless you need custom hardware or software worth thousands of dollars, I bet it's easier to switch to one of the 4+ other major platforms.

Thailand is my go-to for healthcare in private hospitals. I heard good things about Singapore too. Taiwan's public hospitals were great too, albeit not as flashy.

Pharmacists are the last person I see on the way out. They do ask if I have any allergies, but by that time the doctor already washed his hands.

It can go both ways. The difference is that Dr. Chat's opinion takes 5 seconds and is free. It can be just as useless as a doctor who prescribes some med to mask your symptoms instead of understanding why you have them.

AI-guided self-medication is certainly problematic. Rubber-ducking your symptoms for free for as long as you need and then asking a doctor for their 2-minute opinion is IMHO the best way to go about healthcare in 2026. I live in a place w

Oh yes Mountain Lion was very very bad. UI was simple, maybe too simple, but it made sense. The only complaint from that era was the thin scroll bars and the flipped scroll direction, both of which are forgotten about and accepted nowadays.

In 2026 it doesn't really matter whether LLM wrote it, because people are lazy and will let AI write/rewrite their own short thoughts.

This is such ridiculous scaremongering. If you use your phone and take photos with it, then what difference does it make that it uses the camera when you unlock it? If your phone is compromised, you're already cooked.
