I feel that a lot of OTAs will just not refund you when a flight is cancelled, especially if it's not one of the more reputable ones. Is that what happened here

I feel that a lot of OTAs will just not refund you when a flight is cancelled, especially if it's not one of the more reputable ones. Is that what happened here? How did you fix it? In my case in 2020 I had to request my refund via PayPal for Vayama
