Oh yeah I mean how do the phones do that. I guess it uses dead reckoning with visual cues and some machine learning.

I suggest an adjusted value taking burn into account. E.g. you use 20% or whatever of the value. Theory: it ain't 0 if you plant a tree and it is not the whole tree. There has to be a % that represents on average the effectiveness of t

Needs a coefficient of burn, so instead of 1kg maybe you count it as 200g to allow for burning and and then next replant which allocates to someone else.

Subscription models are fine if profitable individually. It then is an automated token allocation. The problem is loss making subscription as a marketing tool. But if you do loss leaders that be the risk you take.

Selling your sub tokens is against ToS and somewhat like sharing your gym pass.

Yeah but those tickets are never a loss leader. So it feels different. This is more like sharing Argentinan $2/m Google Premium subscriptions via a load balancer.

I'd rather discuss first principles than use ad populum arguments. Going back to Jira (you may be right about Oracle but I doubt it) they are well position to ride the AI wave and do well. I gave reasons and details in my last comment.

Zoom out. Look at 5 yr chart then look at April 2025 could say the same thing. Also when shorting you are betting against the machine of capitalism. It's like very rare and abnormal for today to be a GFC or Enron sort of day rather tha

You develop a taste as to what details you can skim and what you need to dive on. We are all trained on this due to doing 10000 wax on wax off movements, called a "PR Review". I used to scrutinize. Now I think "yep that bit l

I never met anyone who likes Oracle ($331bn mkt cap), SAP (€187bn) or Salesforce ($134bn) either. However as businesses they sell, they know how to sell and know what they customers need. They need a lot of compliance and IT maturity for su

I found Django a bit hard to get on with vs. other frameworks and I've used Rails, .NET MVC and Express (and friends). I just found more friction trying to achieve X for any given X for some reason. Not sure why.
