Yeah why is "the algorithm" the thing we do in our head to mimick a 1970s computer and not what really happens on hardware.

I'd bet on them. Brand and models will get cheaper. Can engineer to use cheaper open models. Secret sauce can be in that context engineering and becoming a "cloud" themselves to get cheaper inference.

I love the question. I haven't been too intentional in LLM driven learning but for code I do like to get the LLM to make the code and then I review it closely making sure I understand it. Question it etc. Socratic method seems like a g

Rather than setpoints I am talking about the amount of energy in the air outside and locked into the thermal mass of the building. If the AC got turned off last night the building is sort of like the burning embers of a fire that will rehea

Declaring the probability works too and is maybe more cross-culture compatible (very important!) as some people may take no as no. E.g. "I am keen, and will likely do that I just need a day to think/research/decide".

Yeah I think comments should be restricted to people who have lived in regular 37C/100F plus days. That will be most of us soon enough. Sure keep your AC off to mid morning lol!

Yes the whole thing seems literally childish (like a 6 year old perhaps) and they could have grabbed a coffee and have both sides explain their point of view and come up with a solution. And the solution space here is huge. Upvote for "

I doubt it will be bursty. First: global usage. Next: I even wonder why frontiers labs don't sell batch processing and spot prices to keep 100% utilisation. If they do that and I suspect they will it will be 24/7 maxxed. Imagine t

Idea. You have a lot of ai apps. Charge a fee to use all of them but with the user's own AI subscription. This gets you the same $ (maybe less cost too) and the user gets more features!

Why hasn't someone upended LinkedIn? It is not because the product is incomplete. It is because LinkedIn is the incumbent with millions of users and an ecosystem and culture and gravity around it.
