well it rebase but I never had to deal with everything in this article. It put my commits on top of HEAD and that's it, never had any issue.

I might be lucky but in my whole developer life I have only used like 3 commands git stash, git pull --rebase and git merge. I'm not even sure I used git rebase once.

Yep, only 404 or 500. They were experiencing issues with Slack at the beggining of the day. If I had to guess, a fix had unexpected consequences or it's related to the release of multi-account login https://github.blog/

Wasn't CPM the norm before the market went to CPC because it was easily gamed by publishers? Also it's funny for them to say "Publishers gets 68%" which sounds huge but actually translates to a staggering 32% fee.

I personally enjoy GCP much more because it's easier. You can do almost everything from the UI and products are named the way you expect them to be named (except for a few exceptions). When you are doing devops on the side not as your

Very nice. Not really related, while looking at the network requests I saw that all GET are returning the sql query needed to generate the results. Is this the sign of specific sql-rest technology? Also impressed that all of those metrics s

I'm not sure I got everything in this paper, does that mean users have to sign-in again each time to go to a website? If yes, that's cumbersome at best. If no, then it's not really better than cookies.

On top of the really different API, you always get v1 when you install (which I never understood). You need to upgrade manually everywhere with a command line. If I had to bet: most user didn't even bother upgrading because they are

I meant the branching itself. Is it possible to build features on top of this branching strategy? Is it possible to list versions and get a specific one using just SQL?

Well I'm quoting the OP: "Only 9% of the plastic ever produced has been recycled" And it's true not all plastic ends up in the recycling system.

As I said recycling is most of the time actually downcycling. Don't get me wrong it's better than burning, but the fact we think bottle to bottle is the norm while it's absolutely not is a sign that we have failed somewhere.

I'm genuinely curious and would love to be wrong. Do you have some source? Most of the time they say they do it, but it's much more expensive and recycled plastic quality degrades quickly, can't be mixed with other PET, so yo

There is some nuance here, PLA is not a petrol based "plastic". It has the similar proprieties than regular plastic but is made from organic material. I was only referring to petrol based plastic, but not all bio-plastiscs are re

It's terrible, plastic recycling is a myth told by the petrol industry, that purposefully messed up the recycling labels and greenwashed the entire industry. It's physically not possible to recycle plastic and get the same proprie

Unless you are working in a single process script, barrel file is almost unavoidable. A typical nodejs app will often be split in many packages, requiring barrel file anyway.

Search Engines really need to get together and find a way to not index part of a content surrounded by a tag or something. Even though in this case it might be completely premeditated to increase SEO.
