If you can see MS itself is a big customer, why kill it when their own teams have moved over to it over their own code plex?

Otoh, GitLanpb seems to have a messy code that is slow and taking much memory by slapping new stuff in frequently. (My impression from reading several comments on HN.)

Why is DNS taking so long to have security patched in as if governments are pressuring to make sure they can snoop on things easily. Same goes for email. Having an opt in security mechanism is easy to deploy as in keeping the http version o

When you simply run a packaged router at home that doesn't have the ability to do its own resolver, then you have to host it somewhere but since DNS can't do authentication, it's hard to keep it private. I'd like to know

It doesn't mean, take the shortest route toward the stack of money in sight. If CloudFlare started selling DNS info when they have emphasized that their DNS service is caring for privacy, people apparently stop using their resolver and

Not if you're not comfortable giving up so many of your internet activity to Google but as others have pointed out there are alternatives to spread.

Being young isn't the reason for feeling it hostile. Old ones just got used to it when it was the best they had back then. I've been using vim for 15 years or something but its default is insanely hostile that the default hotkeys

Apple has been targeting the general public filling their needs with easy to use device/software stack and while part of it is starting to fail (dropping AirMac series), I would consider them losing focus if they start to build tiny ma

1) What's the concern here? 2) Why does the seller have to guard the payment processor's IT infrastructure? 3) Certainly faster than counting cash on top of counting the reciepts. 4) The problem doesn't exactly lie in the cas

Maybe they fix apps whose complaints are louder than average. Putting an effort to make people believe the upgrading on macOS is smooth is important to avoid version spread like on other OS's.
