I want to use this website to see what it thinks MCO was like when I was there last, because I suspect it will say it wasn't as congested as it was, but it doesn't seem to let me see historical data. How are you seeing historical

My qualms with: Windows: - Still relatively-susceptible to malware (these days ransomware is the main concern). - Windows 10 and 11 have ads and lots of tracking ("if it's free, you're the product!"). - It likes to rest

Keep in mind, it's the worst experience compared to macOS and Windows. The issues are usually display/GUI-related. HiDPI scaling is still buggy regardless of distro/DE. As recently as the past month I have experienced UI scal

I use Linux (usually Ubuntu or a derivative), macOS and Windows 11 regularly. To me they all “suck”. They all have shortcomings, and my constant switching between them only proves that there isn’t a clear winner. I can think of at least two

I realize data is somewhat open to interpretation... to me, seeing a ~30 min wait in the middle of April is a bad omen. I think we should also consider that most airports are probably not congested outside of certain "rush hours".

“Leadership” is always getting in their own way with meaningless reporting and honestly it ruins software development for me. I want it to just be a hobby, but to start over from a career (and salary) perspective would be devastating financ

MCO can and does get very congested. Your one-off anecdotal experience is not representative, I promise you. That said, they are kind of addressing the congestion with that new terminal.

But I bet they have better bedside manners than TSA personnel. I really feel for the TSA “agent” who has to just sit and make sure nobody goes the wrong way through the “exit only” corridor that leads out of the terminal.

Realistically the days of planes being hijacked are over, barring severe incompetence or malice by the pilots. I think it’s easiest to kill everyone on a bus because the driver is accessible and unprotected. I agree with the “air bus” analo

I agree- if I’m a terrorist and I can’t hijack a plane since the cockpit door is locked during flight (and bulletproof I believe), next best thing is probably “bomb in airport”. Why kill 100 people when you can kill or injure 1000? But of c

Ah so that’s why the premade food at airport shops is so weird. I remember eating a sandwich I’ve never heard of before at EWR. It wasn’t that good and I remember the ingredients were unusual.

Sounds like it depends on language popularity, although Elixir isn’t all that “popular”. “Loved” perhaps, but not “popular” like C# or JavaScript or Python.

I think with mercenaries there is an expectation of skill while with bootcamps you expect the soldiers to be green as hell.

Web devs are the comedians of software development in that they’re the lowest form- not because the job is easy, but because bootcamps (which were/are all web dev bootcamps) cranked them out, and if someone tells me they’re a web dev i

Anyone who thought the merger would result in T-Mobile’s balance sheet getting worse, doesn’t understand how businesses work. The ONLY asset Sprint had by the time it was a carcass of its former self was the spectrum. It was economical for

No study I am aware of has shown a statistically-significant causal relationship between computer usage and development of CTS. I saw 3 orthopedic surgeons last year and all said I had CTS. I gave the same info to ChatGPT and it said Thorac
