I'd question how you're presenting and selling yourself to potential employees. You have ALL of the leverage. Cracking $100k should have been easy, IMO.

Your personal experience as someone hiring developers or yourself looking for new jobs? I think a candidate with a 4 year CS degree and 1-2 years work experience should probably command more than $120k. A lot of it depends on how well you c

The question I'd ask you is if you could afford not to use Melt as a way to delight your customers. Gifting your best customers with surprise tokens of appreciation (~$15), especially if your company's products are in the high end

Thanks for the comment and suggestions. I'm actually working on a lightweight CSV uploader for some of our early users who are Realtors.

Thanks! Yes, I'm working with a few luxury brands as it's much easier to showcase the value of a $20-50 gift in comparison to a customer buying a $xK item

Please reduce or remove the background music in your demo video. I could barely make out the sounds being picked and that was probably the only reason why I watched the video.

How would you describe a API-based SaaS company with a heavy operations factor tied into it? My co founder and I are building the API for personalized gifts and while the software part is clear, literally half of the company is figuring out

I doubt the part about last ditch publicity event. Would writing a postmortem on why you've failed really help to bring in customers? Most likely not.

I used to rehab and build eco friendly homes. It was definitely a hustle and grit and grind type of business. It was all about snowballing your bankroll into more and bigger projects. You find ways to turn $10k into $100k and then you get a

Thats awesome! I've been to your site a few times but haven't been able to pull the trigger. I leave my full time, non dev job this summer to spend time reading, learning, and travelling. I'll def. look into Hacker Paradise.
