So what? Why are you trying to assess the relative harm of a fabrication with anything at all? 3) is just nonsense that distracts from real discussion and yet there are people here defending it. I just don't understand.

Sure but 3) is just bullshit that just confuses everything for no valid reason. It is distracting dangerous noise that increases the anxiety of the public for no good reason.

I prefer the engineering details to be in the commit message and not an external issue tracking system. That system might not be accessible 3 or 5 or 10 years later.

I see what you are saying now. Wasn't clear from your earlier comment. I hope that the mortality rate turns out to be lower than it appears at the moment (i.e. an undercount of infected people).

Regarding your button question: You do need some sort of seam at the point of use so that the feature flag logic can be hidden behind a lookup function. For example in Rails you might include your button code via a partial template. You cou

There was an article here a while back about a bike company having lots of trouble with damage during shipping. They changed their packaging so that it appeared that there was a TV in the box and not a bike and the damage claims dropped. F

This is an area where I think it is easy to not think it is a problem if you happen to live/vote in a place with reasonably operated polling operations. I've been voting for over 30 years and have never waited more than 30 minutes

Doesn't change the analysis re: supply and demand. Just changes to a discussion of the middlemen as a supplier.

Perfect way to guarantee shortages. Let the price float and there is an incentive for businesses to figure out how to increase the supply quickly, thus causing the price to drop. The economic theory on this is rock-solid and yet it seems im

I don't really care what you call it, but Bernie's plans amount to nationalizing as much economic activity as possible, utilizing a command economy approach to provide goods and services, shifting responsibilities from states to t
