Could a malicious macro generate code so that the compiled program would e.g. access /etc/password? Will there be some verification that precompiled macro binaries come from their published source?

"On January 13, 2017 we signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with French Polynesia [...] agreeing to cooperate on developing legislation for The Floating Island Project by the end of 2017" Is there any more news on this?

The WebGL view might rerender every frame, the react component tree doesn't have to.

For sure it would be nice to see some stress tests of performance. From my experience with React, if it's used properly so that the entire component tree isn't rendered every frame, I would expect the overhead of using to be almos

Thank you too! It's fun seeing the different ways we implemented the same things, even pieces and rotation. pure-store is a library I made for very simple but efficient state management. The entire source is this file: https:/&#x

Here's my tetris copy: http://wolandbros.com/tetris/ Both the game and the source are much more minimal, it's very easy to customise the rules. You can see the source here: https://github.com/

Could you add split-peas to your analyses? They're the best value food I've found - 25% protein, and 1/3rd cheaper than lentils, at least where I am.

I created my own library for it. Compared to redux it's far more simple and requires none of the boilerplate. It also allows perfect type support with typescript. https://github.com/gunn/pure-store

My interpretation is that there are three boundaries - the big bang, the planck length, and the one defined by the speed of light. Within that there's a smaller area defined by the limits of the human senses.

I made a minimal Tetris game in javascript. If someone wants to make their own version, it could be a good base for it. The source code is at https://github.com/gunn/tetris/ And you can try playing it at http:&#x

There seem to be two things. Each community can define channels so I guess you could have an 'offtopic' one. The other is that there are dedicated 'watercooler' threads e.g. https://spectrum.chat/react?th

Definitely. And using these technologies, there are some cool possibilities beyond what rails is capable of. For instance if you used typescript (still allows devs to use plain JS), you could use types to check that forms send all the requi

You might like my library - no actions or reducers, and great typescript support. You just use regular JS to manipulate data and the library updates the store immutably. https://github.com/gunn/pure-store

I created my own library after finding redux boilerplate heavy. I haven't publicized it yet, but you can see it here - https://github.com/gunn/pure-store It supports full typescript typing, and uses Immer to allow

That's almost exactly what I was thinking of. There does look to be a big caveat with it though - instead of JS, it has an ECMAScript variant called TIScript. I'm sure this was a good choice when it was made, but javascript librar
