"They don't build them like they used to anymore" applies to pretty much everything these days. +1 for the Downfall documentary on Netflix. Answers a lot of questions.

I often see reviews for a model that's similar but still different. Not being a seller, I'm guessing the exploit is around labelling a different model / product as a colour variation of the product they're trying to leec

Procrastination happens when people are not excited about completing a task. A deadline is a way of introducing excitement. Procrastination can be defined as “delaying working on a task until the impeding doom of the deadline grows too lar

Interesting idea, however the sign up process is confusing: - "Add to Slack" opens a Stripe page which says $49 is due today while the landing page claims there's a 30 day trial - "Get Sidekick now" opens a contact

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately. I think once a company is past its garage phase (a group of engineers in a room + a pizza), think Amazon/Facebook/Microsoft, its velocity gets reduced drastically.

Banning an example of a perfectly engineered product seems wrong. Does it set an example that’s very hard to achieve? Perhaps. Should others strive to learn from it? I say yes.

Another way to look at ChatGPT is it being a smart RSS reader. It's the way it discards all the WordPress layout junk giving you just the meat in a text format. The biggest advantage Google currently has is their massive indexing abili
