This is probably just splitting hairs, but I don't think it is equally valid. Compared to the channel width, the center frequency is known / required to be set much more precisely. You could wiggle around by the bandwidth by 100s

I've heard screen readers going way faster (I don't know quantitatively) than what it sounds like when I listen to videos at 2x. I also think it's important that the screen readers use a "old school" synthesized voi

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rng_(algebra) is a small example of trying to use more consistent names, but it's too punny for my taste... (Rng is a ring without an identity element)

I think it is confusing not to address that math notation often (including the one used here) uses 1-based indexing, while Python uses 0-based indexing.

I understand your point, but it's not necessarily a better way to say it. The full term is "generation loss", and it applies regardless of destructive edit operations.

I don't understand. 1. The problem is that the GP prediction was wrong 2. You need to make sure predictions are right. 3. All predictions are wrong. 4. So add error bars. Should the downstream system trust the error bars with certainty

Unless I'm missing a connection you've made, no. You might have been exposed to the singular-value decomposition to compress a matrix, and representing an image as a matrix e.g. [1]. JPEG encoding is about transforming the signal

It would be nice to corroborate this reason with another source, because my understanding is that clock synchronization was not a factor in determining the MTU, which seems really more like a OSI layer 2/3 consideration. I am surprised

I strongly agree that multiple ways to look at things is good. Programming languages have different "things" built in. Like, if you have re-entrant function calls, then your language has a built-in data structure called "the

I think I better understand your point. There's behavior, and there's intent. Seems related to the distinction between syntax and semantics.

I guess there are at least two ways to understand an inductor: 1. if you disconnect it from power, you'll get a huge voltage spike 2. V = -L (d/dt) I 1. seems like a practical explanation. 2. seems like a theoretical explanation.

I wouldn't invoke a notion of "ground" when describing the operation of a component. That's some really a notion that comes out of looking at a circuit (in the sense of a circuit diagram), I would say. It might also conf

That was helpful, especially realizing that part of the problem (at least as you see it) is that the "linking" is unidirectional. Function definitions/calls are also unidirectionally linked. You can see at the call site which

Julia doesn't make it easy to guarantee that you won't allocate anything on the heap. The semantics of the language don't include really any control over that, yet. I hope one day it does. It seems like a tough problem, becau

It's interesting to think about what multiple dispatch abuse would be. As far as I know, implementation inheritance can be misapplied when you try too hard to use the language's type system to capture some domain-specific model. e
