For me the major breaking change on social media is the forcing of non linear timelines. They're required to increase engagement and promoting content but thats the crux of the issue. I liked the way early twitter worked, I have my bub

There is also the good old: "We can't discuss changes because there is nothing better already existing. There can't be anything better because we cannot change"

Community notes and enforcement might help meta in the long run as being a step into more organically managed content that can scale better than simple moderation. I have my serious gripes with how Instagram currently manages reports. I

My guess any person who shared affiliate links have good grounds for being part in a lawsuit. Not only they did not receive any money from PayPal for promoting Honey they had their affiliates stolen. Honey will likely try to cop out by clai

Exactly, no bank or payment system would ever offer services on the internet. How can a store operate in this environment! Never gonna happen. Impossible for mission critical tasks.

Visa is valid for 6y, entry visa for 3. You decide to visit Europe in year 4, you have to travel to southeast Asia or South America to renew your entry visa before you can get back to work? Sounds stupid. Another incredibly stupid thing of

Is there a name for this category of website? I am seeing content like this — elaborate, animated, interactive — more often here and I wonder if its part of a new corner of the internet I am not familiar with. Looks dope.

You might have a great relationship with time and your phone, which is great. Not all of us have that. If/when my mental health is not on its best legs tools like this might prevent it from going deeper. Its VERY easy for me to do 30 m

Installed about 30 minutes ago, it already made me reconsider using the phone 3x. It is indeed effective while you're engaging with it. Hope it continues like this for long term.

1000x thanks, from the normal marketing material and post I could not tell if it was a drop in replacement, even if mostly. Looking forward to upgrade my uConsole.

So it has a chamber, a heater, a way to control chamber temperature. But its not a heated chamber because it does not have a single purpose heater vs using the bed for it? Sounds like semantics until testing is done.

I don't think the cheap clones were ever the problem. Prusa changed gears more heavily when Bambu came, took the code, ideas and learnings, modified, added, closed it and held for themselves.

I think it depends a lot of what one see as a success and "make it work". If we think that success is only high earning, growing forever, vc fuelled companies, then no. Open source will never work for that.

The fact that they're planning a upgrade kit for mk4s is awesome. If you're into it already and wanted an enclosure this makes it a very compelling option.

Why do you need the interface? You can extend/mock the class itself. Refactoring code is easy and cheap. There is no reason for complex abstractions that protect implantation outside of libraries and frameworks.
