(As someone who has spent quite a lot of my time, recently, going through this with a family member) the screening process is sometimes very demanding, but also often very opaque to those going through it. Our experience has been that, sinc

As a Linux user, I still call it X11, and it's in `/etc` as `/etc/X11`, so I don't think I'm that far wrong.

I was honestly trying to think of how an X11 bug could affect images and links in tweets until I opened the link and remembered that rebranding exercise.

This looks really cool! We recently embarked on designing our own authorisation service internally because we couldn't find something that did the sort of thing we wanted with the flexibility we needed. Looking at this, maybe we don&#x

NFSN allows you to host websites but last I checked they won't just give you a server for you to run whatever you like.

I've been using Mullvad for years as a permanently-connected VPN and I find it excellent. I do use a subscription, but I have a friend who sends them cash in an envelope by snail mail and loves it.

To be clear (as many people seem to think this is about money): this isn't about money. If we switched to LibreOffice we'd donate to the contributors and pay for support. This is about migrating tools before I have double the numb

I find that some of the models I get sent by the team won't open properly in LibreOffice Calc, so definitely agree with this. I very rarely get Writer / Impress compatibility issues, however.

I'm less worried about their flexibility in adopting new tools (everyone has started using Notion just fine), but more that I would get people to move off Google, setup a whole new infrastructure, only to run into some usability issues
