Really great Delve integration would be enough for me. IdeaJ has a great debugging experience.

FWIW, I'd love to get rid of our car. I don't like fueling, insuring, maintaining, parking, or driving it. I'd rather use that time and money on something else. Cars are a lot of work if you take care of them.

There are so many great subs outside of the defaults. Search around and you may find something that fits! I love /r/cfb and /r/personalfinance, to provide a couple examples. I think I've unsubscribed from just about

Can you further define "they"? Reddit has hundreds of thousands of communities in it. It seems like you are generalizing the actions of a tiny subset to the whole user base.

Just keep in mind that these aren't incredibly reliable across the board. Others have very low or arbitrary autoban or blacklist policies. I eventually caved and paid Twilio to hassle with SMS logistics for me, rather than deal with th

When you say "ingress", are you talking about the contrib nginx ingress controller?

Yes, you can. But doing this is not "free", in that you are spending time doing this (potentially often) instead of an infinite number of other more productive things. This alone isn't going to kill your productivity, but it&

They talked about moving to Kubernetes, so the AWS vs GCP part of this is much easier to deal with.

It gets a lot more challenging once you outgrow your initial reservations. Or maybe you find that you reserved the wrong sizes. As you add more reservations, it will become something that you are dealing with constantly. It's terrible.

AWS support has been rarely worth the cost in my various stops. Even at the highest support levels. Slow responses, having to deal with people sticking to support scripts, etc.

It's not universal. I'd rather bring in a dependency than reinvent the wheel. requests is used so widely that I'm surprised to see this raised as an issue.

If you don't want to stand up your own cluster for eval, fire up Google Container Engine for a few days. It's cheap and very well done.

Once you've got the GKE cluster stood up (two clicks or so), you don't need to care which cluster you are on. The gcloud CLI remembers whatever you set. It's very hands-off. And if you ever do want to take more direct control
