> Kubernetes can re-attach that volume on another host, start up a new container and you are back in business. There are still some bugs with this, particularly on AWS. Getting better with every release, though.

Google PubSub has TTLs on each message, with the queue having the default value for new messages. I've found this to work really well in practice.

I had a Nexus 5 as well. Big improvements with the jump up to the 5X. I'd hope that this year's model will continue the trend.

1.4 to 1.5 is the really painful upgrade. The rest are much less so. Especially after 1.6.

Would certainly make it easier to evaluate and gradually migrate to rkt. I don't have any plans on setting a separate cluster up to test rkt anytime soon.

I haven't checked it out yet personally. I'm not sure what else I'd want to put on top of Kubernetes, though. The only thing I'm really left wanting right now is distributed cron (which is supposed to be landing in 1.4).

We use Drone CI for this with excellent results: http://readme.drone.io/usage/overview/ It's especially great for compiled stuff, but we use it heavily with Python as well. In the case of the former, you do a

Whoops, I'd edit this but apparently my mobile app doesn't support such a thing. GCE in the parent should be GCR (Google Container Registry).

Google's GCE isn't much better. CoreOS's Quay is the best that I've seen. Nice UI, and a head start over Docker Hub's image security scanning.

It's not that it's lacking at all, but on GCP I just click a few buttons and Google spins a Kubernetes cluster up for me. They handle my node OS upgrades for me. They've also got a really slick in-place rolling cluster upgrad

Only thing to keep in mind with Bitbucket is that they seem to struggle to keep things running smoothly. Just spent a year working at a company who used Bitbucket full time. Their git servers were slow or down at least once a month, and we

It seems to be taking more of a South approach, and I really like this. Shake out conceptual issues, find an API that works well, iterate a bunch. Django release cadence is pretty slow, so having it simmer outside of it makes a ton of sense

It's not really the same thing. Sentry is far more general purpose, and doesn't require GCE. If your language or framework lacks support, you can add it. Also has a bunch more functionality. Google's offering is great on App
