I love this example. Kinkade is considered an 'outsider artist', which is a category an artist falls in when they are successful but not cool or young, like a celebrity. The "artist's story" being discussed in most

You got it right. It’s no good for that. No crypto system can close trust beyond the network and it’s nodes. Some other dependency is required for that. Crypto might be shown to allow for some new kinds of dependency to step in at that poin

Thanks for the response! It's pretty tough to find anecdotes which offer support for the other options. I'm glad I asked. Good luck to you as well!

Sounds questionable. Many substances with high abuse potential are used by medicine, and alcohol has no medical benefits that I know of but creates loads of problems everywhere I look. I don’t feel like I’m making any non-obvious points.

A little off-topic, but what do you do now? Are you still interested in graphics rendering? Your insights reflect my experience in film/video post-production and I am starting to get deeper into the software dev side of CGI and doing f

For a brief period following the turn of the millennium, many urban centers in the west (Seattle, Washington, Portland) had bicycle clubs who introduced a slew of “green bikes” which were spray painted green and considered public domain. It

Makes sense. I may give it a shot. I can have a hard time quitting sometimes. I can get uncharacteristically competitive with myself when exercising.

That’s not a secret, evidenced by the relentless reminders in every HN crypto post comment section. I can’t argue with the value of these reminders, though.

Is it the job of the press to notify state senators of bills on their own floor? I don’t want to undermine the value of public awareness and activism, but I think blaming this one on the press is a stretch.
