Seems a lot of people get fooled by the average prices on Padmapper. But the reality is that expensive apartments stay on the site longer than cheap apartments. So the "average" prices are likely to be higher than the real average. It takes

Depends on where you live in Manhattan. When I was there in 2006 I lived in Harlem and paid approx. $1000 a month. And with the express trains it only took a couple of minutes to get anywhere.

There are enormous differences in the productivity of programmers. Even in the area of "good programmers" really good people can be multiple times faster than others. (Also "better" than others, but that's not directly measurable). So I thi

Painful? At least in Europe this is done under general anesthetic and after the procedure you shouldn't feel more than light pains.

That's only an issue if you have a real atlas. AFAIK, the tz data just maps timezones and date ranges to offsets. Your different areas don't matter at all here, because the tz data doesn't care about the mapping of geographical regions to t

Can you copyright tz data at all? This has nothing to do with "creative" work, but is simply a (pre-existing) mapping between countries, dates, and offsets.

I suggest to try out lenses. At the beginning it's a little bit difficult to put them in or to remove them, but (at least for me) they work much better than glasses. If you are lucky and the lenses work well for you, you won't even notice t

You can deposit your checks at UPS stores. If you only rarely use checks this works well as a solution.

Shouldn't this be more of a temporary problem? As soon as there is a vaccine its patents will expire at least 20 years afterwards. And then lots of much cheaper vaccines will flood the market.

Green card holders have to report on their accounts. I know this because I am one.

I received my Green Card only some months ago, but the requirements that you have to report on your accounts is pretty obvious, once you check what things you have to do.
