That does not necessarily need to be the case. I don't know how the CA in question works, but for many CAs it's sufficient to be able to receive mails at the postmaster address of the domain in order to receive a certificate. So basically y

I don't see a reason why private keys should be accessible via Javascript at all. It's a plugin and not a JS-based extension. With the right API the JS code would never see the private keys.

The UI works quite well with a focus-follows-mouse policy - as it has been standard in Unix for decades. With today's click-to-focus window managers the UI is just horrible (but that's not Gimp's fault).

The honeypot account still needs access to the operating system, and thus to the harddisk password if you use full-disk encryption. Full disk encryption is more or less default for most Linux distributions and OS X Lion. In addition, it's t

What I don't understand: I you're so concerned that someone steals your laptop, why do you then install tracking software instead of encrypting your harddrive? If someone steals my laptop I wouldn't care about the cost of lost hardware. Ins

That's also my assumption. In Europe carriers typically have much less to say. In some countries many people have SIM-only contracts and buy their own unlocked phones from a third party.
