Yes.

The fact that you can't even add memory (be it RAM or storage, the later one is of course doable on some devices) to your phone makes them not first class devices.

Cloudflare enables this behaviour. They are not guiltfree in this regard.

They do replace ANY requests with their own bogus response.

I do. Many others too. Or do you see books written on phones, programing being done on phones? Being able to install any program you like? No? Not first class then. There are many things that can't be done on a phone that are possible

Phones are not first class devices.

Why a bot? Normal notification or email would suffice.

No, because the touchpad malfunctioning has no impact on a security policy whatsoever. Not even work possibly. If you want to lock your PC you need to lock it.

There is plausible deniability. Just say my touchpad is malfuncioning and sometimes moves the cursor.

Then why not report them?

Telemetry does not matter in this case. If a bug occures often, then either the issue ticker will get this bug often, or there might even be a "known bugs" section.

No, those are directly correlated.

Even with, what telemetry would allow you to determine how many pictures (and presumably content) you sent to whom?

If this is polished [1] then it's a sorry state. This was taken a few years ago, programs were iirc Eclipse, Libreoffice and an editor. I don't care if it's the DEs fault, Qt, GTK ... the same programs have consistency if ru

If this is the first instance of this bug being reported, then yes it's rare.

Also some POTS provider will accept SMS and either read it to you, or you can read them in some web portal (or the router possibly).

I found that too, but then my main usage for SD cards would be gone.

This. I don't believe people who are saying this is an Android issue. It's not. Other sync apps can use the SD card just fine, without root.

Of course it has no impact on Youtube.

Had to stop using it because the devs couldn't fix the SD card issue on Android.

Not the first time. Bound to happen. My main gripe is that Google has no money or brains to actually enlist humans to solve such problems.

Of course it's doable, but citing Signal for it ... you don't get old messages, only new ones. Might be a security "feature" but then again, let me export/import the history manually.

My guess for 1 and 3: because they haven't figuered out a way to sync this to all devices. For 2, maybe scaling issues? Some groups tend to be like public IRC channels.
