I recently bought Olive oil and a Nintendo wii game via Target with prices cheaper than Amazon. The web experience with Target has vastly improved. I am not sure what's Walmart experience is like.

Good move, but the damage has been done. My recent product search have 'incentivized' reviews and it has been very hard to make any decisions, so I have been double checking the reviews from other sources. Due to this, I also foun

This has downstream implications on: 1) Voting and democracy. No one can easily buy off votes for Rs.500 or Rs.1000. 2) Real estate transactions. 3) Gold transactions. Now I bet you cannot sell off gold that easily as you would not be given

I am sticking with MBP for the combination of UNIX, MS Office and support for software like Turbotax etc. Ubuntu is not an option for me yet, since LibreOffice has lot of kinks. My only gripe is that processor and memory did not get an upgr

Totally agree with you. Ubuntu needs to have a mainstream manufacturer to go big. MBP is perfect so far because of the combo of UNIX and Office products and support for various softwares.

$3K is very expensive. Looks like they are catering to the iMac market. It should be interesting to compare with tomorrow iMac release lineup.

Yes, I agree that reviews cannot be trusted. When I was shopping for a probiotic, the 5 stars products were mostly filled with paid reviews where the reviewer gets the product at a discount for their "honest" review.

Yes, I flew 787 on BA, the experience was similar to 777. But A380 because of its sheer size the take off and landing is very comfortable, sometimes you don't feel a thing.

Same here. I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable that A380 was, both in economy and business. I was a big fan of Boeing 777s before. I hope Emirates continues to fly it. I highly recommend the business class experience on A380s, it is
